What does it mean to be a CHIA?

“I utilise the knowledge that I have gained from the CHIA certification daily to focus on creating a digitally literate workforce and digital talent pool through professional development and education. As a clinical informatician, I apply my knowledge on the ground and to deliver training that is designed to meet the emerging digital learning needs of Queensland’s healthcare professionals. Metro North Health through QDA are supporting staff to become CHIA certified, enabling us to keep pace with digital change, and therefore benefitting the healthcare system, clinicians and most importantly our patients.”
