What does it mean to be a CHIA?

“For me, completing my CHIA was an important professional milestone and a real door opener to new career opportunities. Having trained in a very specific clinical role (radiography), the CHIA examination was a critical verification that my professional knowledge extended beyond my clinical stream, and helped reflect the experience I had gained during various roles, projects, and post-graduate studies.

It’s been seven years since I had completed my CHIA certification, and I am fortunate to now be in a role that oversees a range of clinical and technical digital health specialists across a large not-for-profit health organisation. I truly believe that the CHIA certification was a critical step to advance me along my journey.”
