If you’re planning your CPD activities for the year, take a look at these new categories—you may be able to claim points for activities you’re already involved in! To check if an activity qualifies, ask yourself:
1. Does this activity involve further research, new learning, or skill development?
2. Does this activity enhance professional practice?
Examples of qualifying activities include:
- Leading an internal workshop for colleagues
- Preparing a new policy
- Developing published materials
- Mentoring
- Participating in Communities of Practice
By recognising and claiming CPD points for these activities, you’re not only meeting recertification requirements but also supporting your own professional growth and contributing to the field.
